Justin’s obsession with wild bears began at age eight and never let up. Years later, while studying in Alaska, he found himself deep in the backcountry of Katmai National Park—first as a ranger, then as a guide, and eventually, as a photographer with a purpose.
With a background rooted in ecology and an eye for raw, untamed beauty, Justin has spent over 15 years leading expeditions across more than 30 countries. From photographing brown bears on the Alaskan coast to tracking orangutans in Borneo, his lens captures the soul of the wild.
Known for his science-based storytelling and immersive style, Justin’s work has been featured in global conservation campaigns, publications, and adventure catalogs. He’s guided photo trips from the sub-Arctic to the equator, always aiming to inspire a deeper respect for wild places.
Today, through his travel company World Untouched, Justin invites others to step off the beaten path and into the wild—to witness, to feel, and to connect.
